Meagan Marshall’s Biography

WFCI Executive Board Vice President

I am a dedicated recovery professional with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families impacted by substance abuse disorder. My passion for this work is deeply rooted in personal experience, losing my father at the age of 16 profoundly shaped my understanding of loss, resilience, and the far-reaching effects of addiction. That experience became a driving force behind my commitment  to helping others heal and rebuild their lives.

Currently, I serve as the Assistant Director at the House of Ruth recovery program, where I help guide women through the process of recovery while supporting family reunification and long-term stability. My work combines compassionate, trauma-informed care with strong administrative leadership to ensure programs operate effectively with integrity.

Throughout my career, I have pursued continuous professional development,  completing multiple trainings and earning my Recovery Coach Certification as well as Ethics training. I bring extensive administrative experience to the recovery field and am committed to maintaining high standards of care, accountability, and professionalism.

Due to what I have been through on a personal level I  strongly believe that addiction is a family disease. This is not something that only affects the individual. I am passionate about addressing recovery holistically, spiritually, while supporting both the individual and their families as they work to heal, reconnect, and build healthier futures together.
