Whole Family Community Initiative, Inc. was founded in 2006 to serve the community as a faith-based organization dedicated to helping families transform their lives through education, spiritual support, emotional healing, and guidance.
WFCI is a nonprofit 501-C3, faith-based organization and INARR certified. (Indiana affiliate of recovery residence certified).
Whole Family has served as an umbrella for several organizations while they were getting established and working toward independence. We have been privileged to support these groups as they found their footing, developed their own structures, and became sustainable in serving the community.
Organizations We Have Supported
- Pathway to Damascus is a men’s recovery home that now has its own 501(c)(3) and is expanding to offer transitional living for men.
- The Haven, a food pantry that serves underprivileged individuals and families, including those living in food deserts. It has now established its own 501(c)(3) and provides food to the community daily.
- The Shelter, a homeless shelter based in Connersville, Indiana. Whole Family Community Initiative supported it during its early stages, and it is now thriving and doing very well.
We are honored to help other entities and organizations in their early stages and to see them grow into strong, independent resources for the community.
